Klllargue Cemetery Appeal


The Killargue Cemetery Committee have embarked upon a major improvement scheme for the new 
cemetery which will be partly funded by Leitrim County Council. 

In order for this work to commence additional funding is required immediately. The work is essential 
for the safety and comfort of people visiting the cemetery and attending funerals. The committee 
therefore appeals to those who may have loved ones buried in the cemetery to make donations 
towards this improvement scheme. 

The committee is also inviting donations from those who, in due course, would wish to acquire 
burial plots for their future needs in this regard. Any other donations would also be gratefully 
accepted. 

Contributions may be paid directly to the Killargue Cemetery Committee bank account, available at 
AIB Manorhamilton A/C No. 03876010 or Brian Harte (Treasurer), Lisgorman, Killargue, Dromahair 
or to Patty Reynolds, Killargue PO. 

This is an important opportunity to have these improvements carried out in the cemetery but should 
the extra funding required not be secured, no work can be completed and the grant from Leitrim 
County Council will be forfeited.
