Certificate in Studies on the Catechism
Maryvale Institute


The study of the catechism consists of daily reflection/study and a weekly group gathering 
with a facilitator/spiritual director. In the Diocesan Pastoral Centre this will take place on 
Thursday nights from 8pm to 10pm. 

• S ix units of twelve weeks per unit over three years* 
•> One night per week. 
* Two units per year. 
Whv Study the Catechism? 

•• It teaches the faith clearly, unambiguously and fully 

* It leads to Christ and life in him 
• It is a serious presentation for adults of a living faith for today 
Fees (subjectto change) 
With Certification from Maryvale: €65 per unit (includes Maryvale course notes and 
reading materials, administrative and certification costs). 
Without Certification (Audit only): €35 per unit

Manorfaamilton Deanery


If there is sufficient interest in the Northern Deanery (15+) another group will be established 
in that area. This will probably be held on a Wednesday night 8pm to 10pm.
