Dromahair ~ Killargue ~ Newtownmanor Sunday 29th February 2009 ~ The First Sunday in Lent We have already begun our Lenten Journey. On this First Sunday in Lent we continue our pilgrimage in faith ~ajourney which leads us to the celebration of the Death & Resurrection of Jesus at Easter ~ our promise of eternal hope. Let uspray that for each of us. Lent will be a time to pray again as a family, a time to reassess our own lives and to reach out to people in need. On Wednesday next. 4th March there will be an early morning Mass at 7,30am in Dromahair. This is an opportunity to do something extra for Lent and to prepare for Easter. Mass will be over by 7.55am at the latest. Many people will then have lots of time to complete thejourney to their place of work. During Lent TheRosarv will be recited in each church after weekend Masses ~ for those who to remain on and participate. GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES.
