[A] Did you forget the Special Collection for the Holy Land which is being taken up in all 3 churches after Communion today? Your contribution is important! If you forgot, please put it in an envelope and place it in the Collection Basket next Sunday. Christians in the Holy Land need our support. They comprised 40% of the population of the Holy Land less than 50 years ago and now make up just about 1.4%. The Christian population is vital in preserving the heritage and Patrimony of the Holy Land and the Holy Places. The continuing conflict has badly affected all local Christians who are ethnically Arab and so are treated as hostile. The increasing influence of many aspects of Islam has also made life more difficult, as has the decline of tourism to places like Bethlehem because of the on - going conflict and the separation wall. Your contribution will help out in many important ways, including the upkeep of Churches and the Parish Centres in Nazareth, Bethlehem & Jerusalem, schools in Bethlehem and homes for the elderly in Nazareth.
