Today we remember all those special people who contribute & have contributed so much to us all. And we remember with affection the mothers who have gone before us in faith. There will be an early morning Mass this Wednesday, 5th March, at 7.30am in Dromahair . This is an opportunity once more to do something extra for Lent and to prepare for Easter. Mass will be over by 7.55am at the latest. A lot of people will still have time to complete thejourney to their place of work. GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES. [A] A Date for your Diary! Sacrament of Reconciliation / Penitential Service for Easter: Dromahair Church, Tuesday 18th March at 8.30pm. This service will follow the same general pattern as our Christmas celebration and priests from outside the parish will be present. More details later. [B] Lent is a time of Reflection in preparation for Easter ~ the Passion, Death & Resurrection of Jesus. // is a time to think of our relationship with God, to make a space for prayer and reflect again on the importance of Mass and the spiritual in our lives. It is an opportunity to care for those in need - especially by contributing to Trocaire. [C] Trocaire packs are still available at the back of each church. Please take one and place it on your kitchen table at home as a reminder to think of the real poor of our world. It is suggested that each family contribute the cost of one meal per week to Trocaire during lent. [D] Advance Notice regarding St. Patrick's Day: Masses for the Feast Day of the National Apostle of Ireland have been transferred back to Saturday 15th March in practically all the dioceses of Ireland. [E] The St. Patrick's Day Offertory Collection goes to support Missionaries from the Diocese ofKilmore - especially those in Nigeria ~ in providing education, healthcare and building up Christian communities.
