On this Vocation Sunday, we ask the Lord to give us the ability to discern his will in our lives and the courage and conviction to serve all people in a spirit of love and hope. Today, Sunday 3rd Mav is Vocation Sunday. We pray that we may all live out our vocation to the full in family and community. We pray too for vocations to the priesthood and religious life so that all may be nourished with God's Word. This is also the Sunday when the Annual Collection for Diocesan Services is due. You will find the red Diocesan Services Collection Envelope between vour April & Mav Dues Envelope ~but please note it hasbeen incorrectly dated for the 2(?h April. You will also find a letter from Bishop Leo explaining the need for this collection and the uses to which it is put in the Diocese, within Ireland and internationally. Each parish is levied by Kilmore Diocese in accordance with its population ~ a contribution of €4 per head this year for every man, woman and child in the 3 parish areas ~ or a total of €12 for a household of three.
