[B] Diocese of Kilmore ^ Marriage Preparation Courses: It is Diocesan policy that each couple should attend an ACCORD Pre-Marriaqe Course. Facilitators giving these courses undergo continued in -service training and supervision. And the sacramental aspect of marriage receives appropriate attention. It is a wise practice to do a course up to a year before the date of your marriage. Doing a course only weeks before your wedding makes little sense! All couples are asked to note this request and make suitable & timely arrangements. Contact ACCORD in the Pastoral Centre, Cavan at 049 4375004 for courses available in the Diocese of Kilmore. Courses available monthly to May, plus October & November 2011. [C] First Friday Calls: Visitation will continue over the next two weeks. Because the weather caused problems this Saturday, the usual visitation was not possible. All concerned will be contacted beforehand to arrange a suitable time and day. John Sexton often has other commitments which he may not know about at the time Mass is booked. Your understanding in these matters is greatly appreciated. Community Notices. 1. Thanks to all who contributed to the Sunday Offertory Collections and the Dues during 2010. Offertory Collection = Day - to - Day upkeep of each church, repair and refurbishment of parish buildings, churches and the running expenses of the relevant parish area during the year. Dues = Support and upkeep of the priests of the parish during the year. Thanks to the people of all three parish areas ~particularly all those whohelped In such a variety of ways, cared for each church, contributed financially, took up collections, were active in the altar society, gave contributions for flowers, did beautiful floral arrangements, took part in the Liturgy, sand in the choirs and provided musical accompaniment, our soloists and instrumentalists ~ for vour generosity and support throughout the year.
