A particular word of thanks to the young people who read, did Prayers of the Faithful and provided wonderful music and dance. And thanks to the choir, musical director and organist for their faithful commitment last Sunday and every Sunday. A special word of thanks to Annette Me Hugh who helped so much in organizing everything. And once again we would like to invite people to join the choir. (GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES, [A] Thanks to all the Parents of all New and Current Mass Servers ~ from all parish areas ** who attended the Child Protection Training last Tuesday evening. Parents are asked to return completed documentation without delay so that training of new servers can commence shortly. [B] Parish Pastoral Council: Short meeting at 8.30pm on Tuesday evening, 18th June, in The Depot, Dromahair. Apologies for the change from the following Wednesday evening. [C] In October 2014 there will be a Diocesan Assembly in Kilmore ~ a gathering of the Bishop, priests and representatives from all the parishes ~ to discuss and take decisions on important issues facing the Church in the Diocese. In preparation, Diocesan representatives wish to meet people from every parish to discuss a relevant topic. Our parish has been asked to put together a group of people to give their views on the topic of: People living alone ~aae 65plus. The meeting will be an informal chat over a cup of tea.
