Offertory Collection = Day-to-Day upkeep of each Church, repair & refurbishment of parish buildings, churches and the running expenses of the relevant parish area during the year. The Offertory Collection also makes a maior contribution in topping up the shortfall in the Diocesan Services Collection from the parish, Dues = Support and up-keep of priests in the parish and Diocese. If you are a PAYE worker or were such in 2008 and contribute to your parish, please take home a copy of the CHY2 Cert ~ a white RevenueForm ~ which you'll find at the back of your church. Fill in the relevant sections according to the instructions in the Letter from the Parish which accompanies it ~ a yellow page. Please return immediately as indicated.
