Dromahair ~ Killargue ~ Newtownmanor Parish Website: www.drumlease-killargue.com Fr. John Me Tiernan ~ 071- 9164143 / Fr. John Sexton ~ 071 - 9164131 . Sunday 11th November 2007 ~ 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time- Restorative Justice Week begins today. We are asked to change focus from seeing wrong - doing as merely breaking the rules to a recognition of the harm done by all wrong - doing. We are all asked to take responsibility for our own actions rather than always seeking excuses and placing the blame on others. Restorative Justice strives to create a society where punishment is not given just for its own sake but where reconciliation between offender and victim is encouraged and a safer community created. We pray today for the victims of crime and also for the creation of a society that cares & seeks to be more honest with itself. GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES. Manorhamilton: Mass for deceased members of Staff in the Hospital Chapel on Tuesday 13th November 2007 at 7.30pm. Once again items on graves in Creevelea Abbey have been vandalized. It is particularly distressing that this was done at Hallowe'en, a time when we remember and show respect for all the faithful departed. We can no longer blame outsiders for wanton vandalism in the area and it is about time local parents took responsibility for the small minority of young people who continue to disrespect their community.
