Parish Website: www.drumlease-killarQue.com Fr. John Me Tiernan ~071-9164143 / Fr. John Sexton ~071 -916413L Dromahair ~ Killargue ~ Newtownmanor uarv 2014 ~ The B; Today Sunday 12th January 2014, we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord. Jesus is anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit and proclaimed Messiah. He now goes about doing good, working the signs & miracles that make him known as the servant of the Lord, He is the one who brings the good news to the poor and tells of salvation. Through Baptism, each Christian shares in the life of Christ and the Father looks on us with favour. Sincere thanks to the people of all three parish areas ~ particularly those who helped in such a variety of ways, cared for each church, contributed financially, took up collections, were active in the altar society, gave contributions for flowers, did beautiful floral arrangements, took part in the Liturgy, sang in the choir and provided musical accompaniment, our soloists and Instrumentalists ~ for your generosit and suort throughout the year. A special word of thanks to Marv Brodie & Paul Jordan for providing refreshments in the Depot following the Christmas Eve Mass. Maybe it is something we can build on for future occasions. *M «V AJ *V IV IX* *V IV A* *V fV IV *V IV IV /V GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES.
