Today is Good Shepherd Sunday or Vocations Sunday. We pray for Vocations.
Today also sees the start of the Year of Vocation which runs until next Vocations Sunday, 3rd May 2009.
During the year we will pray for all vocations: those who are married, those who are single and those who live
lives of celibacy. We pray especially for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
And we ask for the grace to follow faithfully our own vocation in life.


This Saturday>, 12th April 2008, all those who help out in any "way in the 3 Parish Areas or have done so in 
recent years are cordially invited to a 

Function in the Abbey Manor Hotel.


No specific individual invitations have been sentout. 
The function will begin at 8.30pm sharp and we hope tofinish at 1.00am.

3. Gaelscoil Chluainin - Manorhamilton: Open / Enrolment Day ~ Friday 18th April - 4.00 - 7.00pm 
On Monday 31st March the launch of the Sligo/Leitrim Living Links ~ a support for people 
bereaved by suicide ~ was launched. 

This new branch is a valuable support service for people who have been bereaved by suicide and will 
be provided by 14 trained volunteers who can offer a listening ear at any time or place.

5. The revised Traffic Plan for Dromahair may be viewed in the local County Council Office. 
There will also be a Public Consultation Meeting for the people of Dromahair in the 

Abbey Manor Hotel on Tuesday nisht next* 75^April at 8.00pm, 

The revised plan will be on display there & the Dromahair District Engineer will be in attendance. 

6. Tennis in Killargue: One coaching session per week will be held each Wednesday 
from 6.00 - 7.00pm. The fee is €5 payable at the Court before each session. 
To attend the sessions, Club Membership must be obtained. 
Membership renewal / application forms available from Killargue Post Office or any club officer. 
7. Anyone interested in doing the Women's Mini Marathon for STOP? Come along to a meeting in the 
Abbey Manor Hotel, Dromahair on Tuesday 15th April at 8.00pm. Details from 9164286. 
8. Dromahair U-10 GAA: Football Training for boys and girls aged from 7-10 years starts next 
Thursday evening 17th April and continues every Thursday at 7.00pm.

Young people -aged 16- 35~are invited to a Youth 2000 retreat in St. Bricin's College, Belturbet from
