are still available at the back of your church. Please take a copy home and find out what is happening in the Diocese. 
[B] The Pope's Collection is due since Sunday, 29th June 2014. If you haven't yet made a contribution, it would 
be appreciated if you could bring it in next Sunday. 
You will find the Red Special Collection Envelope beside your Dues envelope for June or simply use a plain 
envelope and put your name and parish area on it 
Most of this collection goes to helping Christians in need, especially those persecuted by repressive regimes.

Accord Marriage Preparation Courses ~ held In the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cavan ~ are on the following 
dates in 2015: 30th -31st January; 27th -28th February; 27th -28th March; 24th -25th April & 9th-10th October. 
Courses are held from 7.30pm - 10.00pm on Friday evenings and continue on Saturday from 10.00am - 5.00pm.

[H] Lough Derg ~ Kilmore Diocesan Youth Retreat: Takes place on Thursday 21st August led by Fr. Robert Me
Cabe, CF. Cost €35. This retreat is offered to all young people of the Diocese aged between 16- 35 years.

Tidy Towns judging is presently ongoing, so please be vigilant regarding litter and weed control.

Clothing Collection Facility 

There is a Clothes Bank / Container in the Depot Grounds. 

If you have old clothes for disposal, why not bring them there. Your contribution will help the parish and various charities.
Currently people are leaving out bags of clothes at their houses to be collected by purely commercial operators & they
rarely help any worthy cause ~ despite what a few advertise!
And other clothes banks in the village contribute only a very small amount to the charities they advertise.

Little Johnnie looked at his mother and asked, Are you sureJesus is out there?
Yes, I'm sure, she said, He's everywhere & he's always ready to help you when you need him.
Little Johnnie thought about that for a moment, went to the back door and pulled it open a little bit.
Then peering into the darkness, he called out: Jesus, would you please hand me the sweeping brush!
