[A] The Final Special Collection of the year is due today Sunday, 18th October ~ Mission Sunday. Your annual contribution is vital in supporting the Mission Movement worldwide ~ spreading the Gospel. It is the one collection that assists strictly in evangelization: establishing new dioceses, training native clergy, laity & sisters; paying catechists and building small churches. Facilitators giving these courses undergo continued in-service training and supervision. And the sacramental aspect of marriage receives appropriate attention. It is a wise practice to do a course up to a year before the date of your marriage ~ a course only weeks before your wedding makes little sense!
