[A] A bus will run from the parish for the Kilmore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock next Saturday June 25th 2011. The pilgrimage will coincide with the main celebration of the National Eucharistic Congress which takes place in Knock from 24th -26th June. Ceremonies begin at 2.00pm on Saturday. The bus will leave from Killaroue Church at 10.30am & from the Chemist Shoo Corner in Dromahair at 10.45am approximately on Saturday 25th June. Cost: €10. Householders are asked to do their very best to keep their property and the streetscape in front weed and litter free. Volunteers are out weekly collecting litter, tending flowers and maintaining approach roads. Your help is greatly appreciated in the village environs. Do your best! 6. Fire Appeal ~ Dromahair & Newtownmanor Development Associations: Door - to - door collection from 6th -20th June 2011 in the Parish & surrounding areas in aid of a fire victim who lost everything except her car in the fires of Sunday 1st May 2011. Collectors ~ who will be able to update you on the situation ~ will be calling to houses from Tuesday 7* June. Your generous support would be very much appreciated! 7. Killargue New Graveyard: Tenders are invited from registered contractors to carry out works at the graveyard. Please contact 087 -7522831 for information. Clothing Collection Facility A Container has been placed in the grounds of The Depot Drvmaha/rfor the collection of unwanted clothing ~ ladies', gents' and children's ~ shoes in pairs, leather goods, sheets, blankets & curtains. Please put the above items in plastic bags. Access to the facility is from the Backline and through the steel door leading into the Degot_grounds. Only the right -hand door of the container opens. Turn the lever fully to the left before pulling the door open ~ and you'll need to use a little strength! If you find it too difficult to open the door of the container and are leaving a bag outside, please make sure it is sealed and rain - proof.
