[B] IEC 2012: Book Now to attend the 5Cf* International Eucharistic Congress which takes piace in Dublin from the 10th -17th June 2012. The Opening Ceremony takes piace in the RDS on 10th June and there will be ceremonies each day from 11th -16th June, also in the RDS. The Closing Ceremony takes piace in Croke Park on Sunday 17th June 2012. Family Day is on Tuesday 12th June and it is hoped that groups from the Diocese of Kilmore will attend on that day. It was a lovely occasion and a great opportunity to sing and pray together at Christmas time. Saint Vincent de Paul Collection. Thanks for your generous contributions to the special parish collection last week. €1.034 has been raised to date. Tax Relief for Donations to Eligible Charities and Approved Bodies. Thanks to 30 families who returned the CHY2 Revenue Forms. Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the Sunday Offertory Collections and the Dues during 2011. Offertory Collection = Day - to- Day upkeep of each church, repair & refurbishment of parish buildings, churches and the running expenses of the relevant parish area during the year. The Offertory Collection also makes a major contribution in topping up the shortfall in the Diocesan Services Collection from the parish. Dues = Support and upkeep of priests m parish & Diocese. Our local Food - Stores served us well during the last winter's severe weather ~ when travel was almost impossible. We should support them during the time ahead.
