GENERAL / CHURCH NOTICES. [A] Friday next, 1st February 2008 is the Feast of St. Brigid. There will be Mass for the Feast in Dromahair Church at 9.30am. Normally on the 2nd February we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation when candles are blessed for church & home use in recognition of Christ as The Light of the Nations ~ and on the 3rd February, the Feast ofSt Blaise - when the blessing of throats takes place and we pray for the gift of good health and healing. However, this year we will combine the ceremonies associated with both feasts with the Saturday Evening Vigil Mass in Killargue and the Sunday mornins Masses in Newtownmanor & Dromahair. Times are given under each church area below. Candles are available in your local shops. And please note in your diary!
