Next Sunday 3rd August beginning with Mass at 5.30pm, blessing in the 
New Cemetery at 6.00pm and in Carrickatemple at 6.30pm at the latest 

You are asked to park cars facing downhill from the church and on the left hand side only. 
Please note that a collection for the maintenance of the cemeteries will be taken up.

[A] Friday 15th August is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed V-rgin Mary and a Holy Day of Obligation.

On Vigil of Feast ~ Thursday 14th August: Newtownmanor ~ 7.00pm: Killargue 8.00pm. 

On the Feast Dav itself ~ Friday 15th August: Dromahair ~ 11.15am & 8.00pm: Killargue Holy Well ~ 6.00pm. 

The Mass at the Holv Well takes place at 6.00pm on the Feast Day itself ~ Friday 15th August. 

Should the weather be unsuitable, this Mass will be transferred to Killargue Church. 

N.B. Please note: Mass in Newtownmanor for the Feast of the Assumption is a 
Vigil Mass at 7.00pm on Thursday 14th August, There is no Mass in Newtownmanor on the feast day itself, 
[B]The Diocese of Kilmore has published the Second Edition of the New Diocesan Magazine ** Glad Tidings.
This Summer 2014 edition is now available at the back of your church. It is hoped that the magazine, aswell as
providing valuable information, will also help create a Diocesan identity and awareness of what is happening.
It contains information on many Diocesanevents. Please take a copy home,

Clothing Collection Facility 

There is a Clothes Bank / Container in the Depot Grounds. 

If you have old clothes for disposal, why not bring them there. Your contribution will help the parish and various charities. 
Currently people are leaving out bags of clothes at their houses to be collected by purely commercial operators & they 
rarely help any worthy cause ~ despite what a few advertise! 
And other clothes banks in the village contribute only a very small amount to tha charities they advertise. 

Please do not bring books, toys or any items other than clothes!
