The Holy Family is seen as a model for each human family, every religious community
and the Church as well.


The celebration of the Incarnation has brought us to God's closeness. In the Holy Family we see the ordinariness
of the Life of Jesus, the simple acceptance by Mary & Joseph of the Blessing of God.
In the daily lile of family and community we all come close to God.

Wednesday 8th January is the Feast of the Epiphany and a Holy Day of Obligation. 

The Vigil Mass will be in Killargue on Tuesday 5th January at 7.00pm.
On the Feast Day itself, Wednesday 6th January, there will be Mass in
Dromahair at 11.15am & 8.00pm; Newtownmanor at 7.00pm.

4 .From Kilmore to Krakow ~ be part of it: The Diocese of Kiimore is organizing a Pilgrimage to World youth day in Krakow next July 
for young people aged 18 - 35. The cost for the two week pilgrimage is around €800 including travel and accommodation. Booking

7. Dromahair Operation Transformation 2016 Dromahair Ladies and Mens club hosting Dromahair's Operation Transformation. It 
starts on Sun 10th Jan at 1 p.m. with a National Walk (open to all), followed by a six week programme. Registration for 6 week

8. Dromahair Development Association: A.G.M. of Dromahair Development Association/ Tidy Towns will take place on Wed 20th Jan

Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the Sunday Offertory Collections and the Dues during 2015. 

Offertory Collection ~ day-to-day upkeep of each church, repair & refurbishment of parish buildings, churches and the running 
expenses of the relevant parish area during the year. 
The Offertory Collection also makes a major contribution in topping up the shortfall in the Diocesan Services Collection from the parish. 

Dues ~ support and upkeep of priests in parish and Diocese.
Please make Dues cheques payable to Priests' Revenue fund.


All other cheques should be made payable to the relevant church. 

Sincere thanks to the people of all three parish areas ~ those who helped out in so many ways, cared for our churches, contributed 

financially, took up collections, those in the altar society, gave contributions for flowers, did beautiful floral arrangements, took part in the 
Liturgy, served mass, sang in the choir, provided musical accompaniments, soloists and instrumentalists for your generosity and support 
throughout the year. 

A special word of thanks to our sacristans for all their help and support during the year. It is very much appreciated! 

We wish all our parishioners in Dromahair ~ Killargue ~ Newtownmanor, those who joined the parish this year, 
attend our churches from adjoining parishes, those home on holidays, all our visitors and friends
