Last year the parish was levied for €10,574 with Dromahair contributing €5,005; Killargue €3,066 and Newtownmanor €2,503. Your contribution this year will be much appreciated. Do your best! The Cemetery Committee is making a special appeal to people, who have yet to contribute to the Repair Fund, to do so in the next week. The commencement of the work is dependent on how soon sufficient funds are available. It will take approximately €100 per plot to complete the work. In order to facilitate people who want to contribute, members of the Committee will be in Killaraue Community Centre on Wednesday 9th & Thursday 10th May from 9.00pm - 10.00pm. If sufficient numbers are going from the parish, we will run a bus on our own or in association with neighbouring parishes.
